About our owner John "Keith" Mills:

Keith retired from "Ontario Power Generation" part of the old "Ontario Hydro" in early 2003, after 26 years service.

"My son, Christopher asked me to help him research a renewable energy source for his home. The result of that research led us to the alternative energy source products we sell at Renewable Energy Mills".

Our research doesn't stop here. Besides researching alternative energy source products, we also monitor government changes to the grid electric system. One of the initial reports that convinced us of the gravity of our grid electric system is this report from the Ontario Government Ministry of Energy: Our Energy Our Future

This report details how critical electricity supply in Ontario has become and the dire state of maintaining a reliable electricity supply for the near term future. In a recent speech the CEO of the Ontario Power Authority stated that without immediate installation of new generation in the Toronto core area; "Toronto could become a Death Valley".

Keith was also invited to attend a 3-day OPA (Ontario Power Authority)  review of the OPA's  Integrated Power System Plan. The electricity supply in Ontario is not just a supply problem i.e. lack of generators but also a delivery problem with a significant reduction in redundancy for Transmission Lines.
